Introducing our St David's Day Button Bear in a Bedtime Box 

Make your own cute button bear.  We will send you everything you need to make your own bear and everything you need to decorate his little bed including step by step photo instructions

Each button bear has been designed and packed at our Shell Craft Studio in Bude, North Cornwall.  We have no waste and use all of the off cuts from the Abalone shells in our shell craft pictures. When you have finished it he is just 5cm tall and 3cm wide.  He will fit back into the mathchbox he travelled to you in, now decorated as his cosy bed, so when you've finished him he makes the perfect present.

Please note that designs and button shades may differ slightly as every button has been cut from Abalone shell and Mother Nature creates so many beautiful variations.

Our button bears are NOT suitable for small children due to the very small parts.

Abalone is a much-enjoyed shellfish, and there are over 130 species.  Abalone is fished or farmed much like mussels in this country.  The opal abalone used in these buttons is one of the most common edible Abalone shellfish.
